مع التركيز الواضح بضرورة المحافظة على مستوى راق من الجودة والاستمرارية في تقديم تلك الجودة في جميع المنتجات والخدمات التي تقدمها شركة دار الوسط للنشر والتوزيع، فقد طورت الشركة وباشرت في تنفيذ نظام الجودة الشامل لمختلف عملياتها على نهج نظام الجودة العالمي (الايزو 9001:2000 ) مع التزام كامل نحو تحقيق التطوير التدريجي المستمر في الفاعلية والإنتاجية.
ولقد تم إعداد نظام الجودة الشامل لتحقيق الأهداف التالية:
إن الوسط تؤكد التزامها بنظام من الاتصالات الفعال مع جميع العاملين في الشركة، وتفسح المجال للتواصل بين الجميع بهدف فهم سياسة الجودة واقتناع الجميع بضرورة لعب دورهم في تحقيق جودة المنتجات والخدمات أثناء عملهم في الشركة بما يتوافق مع أهداف الشركة المعلنة.

رسالتنا: تولي صحيفة "الوسط" البحرينية اهتماماً كبيراً بتنمية الموارد البشرية لقناعتها بأهمية المورد البشري في تحديد القدرة التنافسية. لذلك تحرص «الوسط» على مواكبة التوجه العالمي في دعم الموارد البشرية وتدعيم آليات تنمية الموارد البشرية من خلال الاهتمام بالكوادر العاملة وتوفير التدريب اللازم لها.
أهدافنا:
- توسيع مفهوم الموارد البشرية لدعم التنمية المستدامة.
- التعريف بالدور المهم والأساسي لإدارة الموارد البشرية في دعم توجهات الإدارة.
- الارتقاء بمستوى الإنتاجية والأداء. التدريب: تستثمر «الوسط» موارد كبيرة في تطوير برامج تدريب عالية المستوى للموظفين. ويعتبر التدريب الداخلي الذي توفره «الوسط» من بين أفضل الأنشطة التدريبية إن لم يكن الفريد من نوعه بين المؤسسات الصحافية.
وتقوم الإدارة بشكل متواصل بتحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية للعاملين الحالية والمستقبلية. كما استثمرت «الوسط» ولا تزال الكثير من الوقت والمواد في رفع كفاءة الموظفين إلى أعلى المستويات في القطاعات كافة. وتمتلك «الوسط» مركزاً تدريبياً في مقر الشركة مجهزاً لإقامة الدورات التدريبية وورش العمل.
